Slide Layouts

Layouts contain formatting, positioning, and placeholders for the content on your slide.

  1. Picking a layout
  2. Be sure you are in "Normal" view.
  3. Look on the "Home" tab.
  4. Click over the "Layout" option.
  5. Choose the best layout that fits your needs.

Designs

In Powerpoint a Design controls background graphics, colors, logos and fonts.

  1. Picking a Design
  2. Go to "Design" tab.
  3. Move the pointer over the thumbnail of each theme.
  4. Click on the theme that better works for your presentation.
  5. For different color go to "Variants."
